About the intervention

Compile a book of recipes that are meaningful to your cohort (e.g. favourite foods, ethnic foods) and learn about each other's cultures and diverse backgrounds.

How to set it up.

  • Create a Google Drive to compile the recipes.

  • Open the recipe template provided. Click 'File'-> 'Make a Copy' to duplicate the document into your Google Drive. Edit it where necessary to suit your needs.

  • Edit permissions to 'Anyone on the Internet with this link can view', then share the link with your cohort. Cohort members should make a copy of the template you made into a shared Drive and edit it there to submit their own recipe.

  • Have a deadline. This could be a week-long themed event.

What to do during.

  • Have an award for most popular recipe to encourage participation. Organise the voting via a Google Form or an Imperial Qualtrics Survey.
