About the intervention

There are plenty of restaurants and markets which offer all kinds of food in London.

How to set it up.

  • Select a time and date, when as many members of the cohort as possible are available.

  • Select a restaurant (you may choose to set up a poll or survey), and remember to consider group size, government guidelines and travel arrangements.

  • Make a reservation if needed.

What to do during.

  • Gather everyone at a suitable venue, like South Kensington station.

  • Head off to the restaurant together and bon appetit!

How you can mix it up ...

Themes: In order to modify this traditional activity a bit more, the team could go to someone’s favourite restaurant every couple of weeks, or they could have a list of restaurants/markets they would like to go to together. The organiser can create a form/spreadsheet where they all submit their favourite restaurants or restaurants they would like to go.

Restaurants: a. Pizza Union, b. The Temple of Seitan, c. Vapiano, d. Roti King

Useful resources.

Some examples of restaurants with good price quality relationship:

  • Pizza Union - there are great pizzas from £5 only!

  • The Temple of Seitan - London vegan fast food, with delicious burgers

  • Vapiano - great homemade pasta that they make in front of you!

  • Roti King - from delicious Indonesian food to their specialty, Indian bread (roti) with a curry, this place offers a wide range of South Asian food
