About the intervention
Papers with everybody's names are folded and each person grabs one and has to give a present to that person. Present needs to be creative and everybody opens presents together.
How to set it up.
Decide on a budget and a gift-giving deadline.
Use a Secret Santa Generator such as Elfster or DrawNames to match up participants or do it manually in an excel sheet.
Participants should share a little bit about themselves in the sign-up form and attach a Wishlist for their Santa. Elfster allows participants to do this.
What to do during.
Gift opening can happen asynchronously with pictures shared to a group chat or synchronously during a video call.
In-person, gifts can simply be collected and distributed during an event.
