About the intervention

Teamwork activity to build a bridge with skewers between two tables. Apart from embracing collaboration, this is an activity to empower creativity and make people be imaginative. There will be a set time, the groups will be rewarded if they achieve to build the structure and the winner will be selected depending on the number of skewers used.

How to set it up.

  • Participants are divided in teams of 5 maximum.

  • The rules are communicated to them before starting, and each group is given some packs of skewers and a place to build it.

What to do during.

  • Teams have a defined set of time (15' is a good duration) to achieve the challenge.

  • When the time is over teams need to stop building, and after the winners will be announced. Material needs to be prepared beforehand, as well as defining the rules, bridge distance and requirements according to the participants skills.

How you can mix it up ...

Rules: Different rules can be set in order to increase or decrease the difficultyof the challenge. Other materials can be introduced such as gum or tape. Also varying the distance between the two tables and the time given to the participants wil define the difficulty of the activity.
