About the intervention
Test your hearing and listening skills with a quick game of Telephone!
How to set it up.
Organise participants to sit in a circle or in a straight line.
What to do during.
Ask one person to think of a long sentence and whisper it to the person next to them once only. Good sentences use alliteration or famous phrases.
This second person needs to whisper what they understood to the third person, and so on.
At the end, the last person shares out loud what they understood and that sentence is compared to the original one.
How you can mix it up ...
Phrases to share: a. A fun fact about yourself, b. Something you learnt recently, c. your favourite author) playing (a sport you despise) in (the last public space you visited).
