About the intervention
Watch a movie together with your cohort. Vote to decide on a theme as well as the movie itself.
How to set it up.
Both remote and in-person
Create an online poll through Mentimeter, put a few themes, and ask you cohort to vote for a theme they want to watch
Find some good movies with the theme that wins the highest votes, and create another poll
Encourage everyone to bring snacks.

Use Teleparty to stream the movie together as a group
Use zoom/Teams for voice and video calls
In-person
Choose a cosy venue with a projector and a screen
Prepare some refreshments and snacks
What to do during.

Turn on the camera to get the feel of a in-person movie night
After the movie ends, turn on the microphone for a short discussion session.

Distribute the snacks and show the movie
